Hey! Wanted to share this new model which I actually fills av void in the home organization here on makerworld. I was growing more and more frustrated by our cardboard sorting at home. We´ve used a multitude of different storage solutions, but noting really worked. Either they took to much space, or was just cumbersome to actually use as waste station. For me, this idea solved that problem. Remove all floor stands, and make a holder that just supports the bag itself. But being really sturdy while doing so. The bag is being clamped from the outside with 2 screws. What allows it to fit a full size trash bag is the fact that it´s 400mm wide, and the dovetail joint in the middle works surprisingly for keeping it together This is version 1. So any feedback or just support on continuation of this isolution would be grateful! #Newmodel #Sharing Makes

Check out this solution that I created for myself, since I love chewing gum, but really hate the packaging of gums and never have a place to throw the used gums. #Sharing Makes #Newmodel

#Newmodel #Sharing Makes My wife finally asked for a design to 3D print. Her issue was that at the end of a soap bottle, it took forever for the last drops to get to the tip when she was doing the dishes. At last she saw some value to this hobby of mine :) This resulted in a journey of multple different iterations and testing of a solution in which the bottle can be placed in such a way that all the remaining drops are readily available at the top. And at last, the solution that was approved by the wife is done! Hopefully someone else can get usage of this model :)

#Windspinner #Contests Hey everyone! I´ve received much love in the comments of my wind powered praying mantis creation, so I wanted to take the opportunity to share a little bit on how this idea came to be :) This model started of with me trying to create something fun for the windspinner contest, which resulted in the Arcimedes Wind Turbine.: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2674942-archimedes-wind-turbine-outdoor-wind-spinner#profileId-2961412 Since I was very happy how that turned out and noticed that it actually generated a fair bit of torque, I decided to make something out of that torque. At the same time I remembered the Strandbeest from the dutch artist Theo Jansen: https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=strandbeest&;&mid=9C39D18CE86C29A90C1F9C39D18CE86C29A90C1F&churl=&FORM=VRDGAR From precious projects where I´ve made an analog pendulum clock just from 3d-printable parts, I had actually learned a fair bit about gearing and gear ratios and use that experience. After that it was a lot of CAD and maths lession on internet to get it working. Simulating the whole thing in Onshape was crucial to assure that it was actually working in real life. Hardest was definately the assembly design. And it´s here where I notice I have a lot to learn when it comes to more complex parts. It´s easy to make everything lock in the correct place in CAD. In real life, it took a few iterations to make it possible :P I´ll post some reference photos in the comments as community only allows for 1 video/photo Hardest part was to design the assembly and how it all goes together outside of the model. #Sharing Makes #Newmodel #Functional Prints New functional print: a PET Bottle Water Balloon Filler Cap with Check Valve 🎈💧 I wanted a simple way for the kids to fill water balloons outside without having to run back to the kitchen tap, so I made this bottle cap that screws onto a PET bottle and works as a portable filler. It has a built-in ball check valve to help reduce backflow

New upload: PET Bottle Water Balloon Filler Cap with Check Valve This model turns a regular PET bottle into a simple portable water balloon filler, so you can fill balloons outdoors without needing to stay near a tap. I made this as a practical summer print, and I think it could be a fun one for backyard play and garden parties. If you check it out, a like, download, or boost would really help — and if you print one, please share a photo of your make.

#Newmodel #Sharing Makes #Sharing Makes this version is fully parametric which means that you can customize it to your specific system.(Edited)

#Sharing Models #Newmodel #Sharing Makes I made a print-in-place notebook multi-pen holder so I can keep all my pens attached to the notebook instead of loose in my bag. It’s parametric, fast to print, and uses around 20g of filament. Trying out the fusion360 parametric function in this model, so would be great to hear how that works for you!(Edited)

#Sharing Models#Newmodel#Sharing Makes Hey! Just wanted to share this model that solved a quite annoying problem for us and our guinea pigs, where the water bottle constantly dropped from it´s holder and when it wasn´t laying on the floor, it leaked water on the floor. This solution solves both those issues. Feel free to try out and remix.(Edited)

#Newmodel #Sharing Makes #Sharing Models New version of my matchbox design, where the idea is to make a better matchbox. This version has a simplified lower compartment, which is for tinder or other small equipment that helps starting a fire. Love to hear what the community thinks. I really think that it format of this little box is nice and would be great to hear any ideas of what other uses of matches could be used in this same format. I´ve tried a screw bit storage in the lower department which works great, but the question is what tools in that case could be stored, and in what way, in the the upper department

#Feedback First post here. I’m trying out to design some models with practical use for others and not only for myself. Not an experienced print-dude either, and I’m not looking to make any money on this. Literally want to make useful stuff. Anyway, I made this matchbox since I often spend time in the forest with the kids and wanted a tidy solution for matches and tinder etc. Made 2 versions. One simple design for matches in one compartment with a ”shake out” hole for the matches and one for the tinder. The second iteration allows for brining a ignition steel in the same package. Last image is an experiment where the top ”lid” i removed and matches a refilled from the underside. So, any feedback on this is appreciated. Is it a bad idea? Or a good idea that needs improvement? Is some feature missing etc. https://makerworld.com/sv/models/2540108-edc-matchbox-version-2?appSharePlatform=copy
