Description
This workpiece is a Mini-Plus frame for use in Mini-Plus hives for queen rearing and nucleus colony formation. The frame is optimized for 3D printing and serves as a reusable alternative to classic wooden frames.
The construction consists of a stable rectangular frame with integrated reinforcements at the lower corners to minimize warping and bending. On the sides are holes that allow for soldering or attaching wire or foundation sheets. The top and bottom bars are designed to fit precisely into Mini-Plus supers.
The design is functional, robust, and easy to clean – ideal for use in beekeeping
