Parametric Corner Protector Generator
This is a generator for creating corner protectors. Useful for boxes, tabletops, and anything else sharp or fragile.
I printed in TPU for the squishiness, but you could equally turn up the roundness and print in PLA.
Updated 13-Jan-2026: Fixed Top_and_Bottom parameter unavailable, changed to number rather than text.
– Choose Double or Single: Select whether you want a protector to wrap over a ledge or a single sided wrapper for a corner.
– Customize height: Set the exact height of a ledge you want to cover (eg. a tabletop) and generate a protector that wraps over it.
– Customize length: The length/depth of arms on each side
– Customize thickness: Create a thin cover for an edge or a big chunky round thing.
– Customize inset slot: For fastening with double-sided tape or magnets. Optional.
– Customize Diagonal Reinforcers: Add triangular features that reinforce the model
– Customize roundness: Change how round the edges/corners are on the outside and the inside.
Assembly should be straightforward, just press double-sided tape or magnets into the inserts (if these were selected in the generator) and attach to table edge.
I found that, if I measured the ledge carefully, the protector would squeeze it tightly and further fastening was not required.
