Description
🧱 Modular Mini-ITX Tower
The ZA Air is a fully 3D-printable, modular Mini-ITX tower case, designed for silent and efficient airflow with complete customization in mind.
Created as a personal hobby project by ZA, it focuses on clean design, space-saving functionality, and full compatibility with modern PC components.
⚠️ Important Installation Note
Before installing the GPU, please note:
Due to the limited 21 mm clearance between the ATX PSU and the graphics card, make sure to:
- Bend the PSU wires at 90° right after the connector to avoid any contact or pressure on the GPU shroud or fans.
💡 This step is critical to ensure proper fitment and to prevent stress on the GPU or cable insulation.
⚙️ My Technical Specifications
- Form factor: Mini-ITX/Mini-DTX (Compatible with Mini-DTX only when the GPU occupies the same slot position as Mini-ITX.)
- Cooling: Air – Noctua NH-C14 (dual 140 mm fans, or equivalent)
- GPU: Sapphire Pulse RX 6700 XT (up to 280 mm, vertical mount)
- CPU: Ryzen R5 7600
- PSU: ATX modular Segotep AM650
- Storage: 2.5" SSD with integrated printed mount
- Panels: Filter-type, modular, no visible screws
- Power button: Ø19 mm, 5 V momentary switch with integrated LED (standard PC type)
- Overall dimensions (including 60 mm base): 360 × 264 × 175 mm (L × W × H)
🌡️ Thermal Performance
- Test environment:
Ambient temperature ~ 23 °C
Passive airflow through printed filter-type panels — no case fans installed (only CPU and GPU stock fans). - Results:
- GPU: 65 °C — FurMark 1080p, 8× MSAA, 10 min (RX 6700 XT vertical mount)
- Idle / light load: ~ 30 – 35 °C
Conclusion:
The ZA Air achieves exceptional passive cooling performance.
Even after 10 minutes of FurMark with 8× AA, the GPU stabilizes at 65 °C — all without any additional case fans.
This demonstrates highly efficient natural airflow and structural heat dissipation within a compact 13.9 L enclosure.Designed for complete silence – the case uses only the GPU and CPU fans, with no dedicated chassis fans required.

Note: The case can also be used without accessories and rear panel .
The narrow vertical panels are identical, and the coupling parts are interchangeable.
- 🧩 Design & Functionality
- Fully modular frame – each panel can be removed, replaced, or customized.
- Front panel includes a mount for a Ø19 mm LED power button (5 V momentary) compatible with standard PC motherboards.
- Designed for Bambu Lab A1 Mini, all parts fit within the 180×180×180 mm build volume.
- Passive airflow with integrated dust-filter pattern for silent cooling and increased rigidity.
- No additional fans required — optimized for natural airflow and silent operation.
No visible exterior screws – clean, minimalist industrial look.
⚠️ Note
Before printing, make sure to adjust the printing profile according to your own preferences and hardware setup.
Do not print the model directly without checking and setting the desired parameters for each component.
For the filter-type panels, insert a modification cube in your slicer (e.g., Bambu Studio) and overlap it with the panel area.
Set this modifier region to no solid layers (infill only) — this will generate the dust-filter pattern correctly.🧰 Included Files
