The new cup holder contest on Maker World finally motivated me to share a project that I’ve been using daily in my SEAT Leon 5F for almost a year now 😄 I’ve always felt that the factory cup holders were one of the least practical parts of the interior. The driver-side holder is difficult to reach, and using two cups at once usually ends with one of them tilted or squeezed sideways. In my previous car (Renault Scenic mk2), the cup holders were much more comfortable, so after switching cars, I decided to design my own solution. This add-on moves the driver cup holder higher and closer to the front while keeping the passenger holder fully usable. It uses a spring-loaded mechanism and mounts directly over the original cup holders. After many test versions, this setup stayed in my car permanently and made long highway trips much more comfortable ☕ #Contests #Cupholder #seat

I designed a 3D-printable enclosure for my USB cable tester, fully protecting the PCB and allowing quick access.
