this was my 1st helmet. I thought i got the measurements right but it was a little small. I use a 7 3/4 size hat. I scaled the helmet to 102%, almost fit. I'm positive if scaled to 104% or 105% it would be perfect for my size head and a little foam strip can fix if slightly large. my kid tried it and loves it
