Description

Undercoat Removal Brush – Version 2

I’m excited to share Version 2 of my Undercoat Removal Brush! The original design was uploaded to Thingiverse back in 2020, and this updated release features a stronger, more durable handle for even better performance.

The inspiration came when my German Shepherd Dog was blowing her winter coat. I needed a tool that could gently remove the soft undercoat while leaving the protective top coat intact—so I designed this brush to do exactly that.

The results have been fantastic. If you have a double‑coated dog, I highly recommend printing this brush and giving it a try. You’ll be amazed at how quickly and effectively it removes loose fur, making grooming easier and more enjoyable for both you and your pup.

Feedback on Version 1

  • TulipsCreations (April 08, 2023):
“This is the absolute bomb. I have printed it 3 times already due to shepherd puppy finding it and using it as a chew toy. But I love this brush—thank you! I use it on my big shepherd and he loves being brushed.”
  • lightningwave (November 26, 2024):
“Works very well, only takes out undercoat. And is one of the few brushes that my dog tolerates.”

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this improved version. Your feedback helps me keep refining the design and making it even better for our furry friends.
