Annnyway…

The Dodecahedral Ball was created by combining mirrored dodecahedra into a rounded, intricate shape. Its interlocking facets make it visually striking, and offer a hands-on example for math enthusiasts exploring complex geometric forms.

I personally think it looks awesome with the tree supports left on!

FDM Print Settings:

Supports: Required (organic tree supports recommended).
Ironing: Enabled for top surfaces for a smooth finish.
Infill: Gyroid, 10%
Optional: Print in halves and glue together for a cleaner finish.

And yeah, those supports can definitely be rough—I feel you on that.I still haven’t had a chance to test out the AMS techniques we talked about, but I’m excited to give them a shot. The Sierpinski Dodec I want to do with a 0.2mm at 50%. Thought I unclogged it - even got 4 perfect plates off it - but it stopped spittin' and I was unable to hot- or cold-pull out whatever garbage got in there when I ran some filament I shouldn't have through. This, the rhombic dodecahedron, and the stella octangula are in the queue while I await shipment. Feel free to release more awesome shapes in the mean time. Just got 4kg of tri-color co-extrusions I need to burn :D
