Description

Glass Support Attachment for the Ultra Low Profile AMS Riser & Slider (Bambu Lab X1C, P1S,)

This Glass Support Attachment is designed to work with the Ultra Low Profile AMS Riser & Slider for Bambu Lab X1C and P1S. It provides extra support for the glass panel when it’s slid backward, allowing you to push the glass further back without tipping or becoming unstable.

By attaching to the rear rail system of the AMS Riser, this piece offers an adjustable solution to extend the glass panel’s sliding range while keeping it stable further back.

🔧 Key Features & Benefits

When sliding the glass panel backward to vent heat or access the build chamber, the panel can become unstable if pushed too far. This attachment gives you more room to slide the panel back safely before it begins to tip, making it easier to manage your workspace.

Extended Sliding Range: Increases how far you can slide the glass panel backward without risking instability.

Tool-Free Installation: Slides into place without the need for screws or additional hardware.

Adjustable Position: Easily move it along the rail system to find the optimal support position.

Installation Instructions:

1️⃣Attach to the Rear Rail

On the back of the AMS Riser & Slider, you’ll find two slots on either side of the rear rail system. To install, simply slot the attachment into one of these slots and slide it along the rail to your desired position.

2️⃣ Adjust and Test the Glass Panel

Once the attachment is in place, slide the glass panel backward to test its stability. You can adjust the attachment’s position as needed to provide more support. If desired, you can also print additional attachments to offer even more stability.

Printed in Bambu Black. I love the cutout for the PTFE tube. Very well thought out and designed. I'm trying to think of a way to integrate something that will lock the glass in place during high vibration print jobs. A hole on top to insert a dowel might work, but there is probably a more elegant solution. Not sure if anyone else would want that, though. Regardless, these work great for supporting the weight of the AMS when I slide the glass back. Beautiful design like the riser.

Thanks for getting this uploaded so quickly. It works great! I printed two in PETG and feel that is enough for good support. It definitely allows you to slide the glass back a decent amount if needed.

Nice, glad it's working well! If you want even more support, I'd recommend printing with a material less flexible than PETG. Thanks for posting your photos!

I made a remix of your design which is easy to print horizontally for maximum strength. Unfortunately I can't upload it, since your license does not allow remixes. Would you consider changing the license?

I had the same thought - the print direction could be better. Thanks for creating it, saved my time. Unfortunately the model itself does not support an easy print, so the model designer should adjust it a little bit. Thanks for sharing!
