Summary:

Handy little discs that can help you divide your work into equal/proportionate parts.

 

Model Description:

Sometimes you need to be able to quickly divide your work into equal or proportionate parts, that's why I made these models. This is, for example, useful in pottery when you want to make patterns or specific forms harmoniously spaced like the feet of a 3-footed pot.

 

While there exist discs with all divisions at once, for 3d printing I think having multiple (4 in this case) is a more accessible/better option. I also preferred using an mmu approach to keep the disc flat-ish, but, should there be interest, I can easily make a no-mmu friendly variant.

 

Note that there is no explicit “2” division in the discs, but, since it's quite simple, you can use half of the 4 divisions for this.

 

You can modify the parameters of the discs in Fusion360 to suit your needs.
