Uniden R7 Radar Detector Mount for Tesla Model Y and 3

This is a custom remix of the original Tesla radar detector mount designed by mukul_k to make it compatible specifically with the glorious Uniden R7 radar detector. This mount securely holds the R7 using its 4 recessed screw holes on the bottom, eliminating the need for double-stick tape or additional adhesives—making it a true friction fit. (Adhesives recommended for assembling the printed pieces, however!)

UPDATE: After some time, I did end up adding some small pieces of double-stick tape to hold the mount more securely on the screen. I guess my driving has become more “spirited”. 🫣

Printing Recommendation:

• Material: Highly recommend printing in ASA filament (I like PolyMaker PolyLite ASA) for excellent UV resistance and durability under sunlight.
• Settings: .2mm Strength Profile, 100% infill (optional). The print profile I posted has painted brims.
