Description
Skiffer
Hi ya'll. I'm learning to 3d modeling so this is not gonna be perfect.
Skiffer Protect your wood skirting board corners. (or slightly less sharp corner for your pinky toes to kiss.)
I saw this thing recently online and I can't find the way to buy it so my only option is make it.
Print details
- I find that if you print after than 160mm It will be a bit stringy.
- No support
- 4 walls
- 40% infill (3d honeycomb)
- 0.1 layer height
- 0.20 mm Strength
- 6.71ish grams
- 41 ish mins
- Have yet to find the best way to print it perfectly.
- I printed in ASA and paint over it so the texture is alright + It will be down on the floor so only person will notice it is me and you.
Installation
- Drill a pilot hole ( smaller than the screw size)
- Put the screw in ( recommend y hand so you not overtighten and crack it)
- Screw size use will be different depends on the board but its a 5mm hole + 1 mm chamfer.
Would it really protect the skirting board corners?
- I really don't know. I print in ASA. (not sure if that mean anything) I just like the look of it.
Thank you for anyone who come check or printed out. I hope to learn more about this hobby in the future.
If you print and like it or not. Please give me a comment so I can improve.
I hope y'all like it.
