60x25mm Fan Mount with 1U Rack Mount Spacing

This is a fan mount for a 60mm x 25mm fan, in a 1U network rack configuration.  The purpose of this fan mount is for activing cooling of SFP+ modules for rack mounted networking gear.

I created this model in support of the Discord 8311 channel which is a community the supports the use of 3rd party networking devices (e.g. WAS-110), to bypass your interent service providers modem.  An issue with these (and other SFP+) devices, is that they can run ‘hot’.  Active cooling is suggested for these devices, so I came up with this design in Fusion 360.

I did model this based on a Unifi UDM Pro cloud gateway, and is meant to be mounted overtop of the rack mount ears of the gateway (there is a 4mm offset).  This model can be printed without supports and does not require any other hardware to mount the fan.

The model fan this was designed around is the Noctua NF-A6x25 5V PWM.
