Description
This is a quick and easy mod I made to make the inside of the Haslab Ghost Trap doors more closely resemble a ‘hero’ ghost trap prop from the movies. In a few closeups, you can see the interior of the doors has a rounded pocket that looks like it's been machined out of billet, and that's what these inserts try to replicate.
Notes:
- These pop directly into the undersides of each door, but are not (yet) sided to be a friction fit. I attached mine with PSA tape, though you can use any adhesive you'd like.
- They are mirrored parts, and each one will only fit in the side it belongs to. The little cutout in the middle goes at the bottom, and keys to a rib on the door.
- I set up the print profile to include concentric ironing (see photo of the non-installed parts) to give the effect of a CNC machine path. Optional, but it looks pretty good.
