Description

55 inch custom Claymore based on Elden Ring weapon.

Notes:

INTENDED TO BE FINISHED WITH SANDING/PAINTING

model is not symmetric

blade is thick but does not take away from the appearance of the blade

I used simple 2 part epoxy to join each piece

there is only one way to assemble, pieces should align (width of blade on one part will line up with connecting piece). There are parts where the pins may fit into both sides of the connection but will not be aligned. reorient each piece the proper way before applying any permanent glue or epoxy

i will have to come back to this project eventually and redo the cuts. the best tip i can offer is using epoxy, mixing it well and allowing it to set for a while before messing with it. this model is also only intended as a prop, it will not hold up to swinging. keep an eye out for a redesign from me as im still working on this project

i can only confirm that it works without issue on an A1 because thats what i used. should work for any other printer though so long as the pieces fit within the print bed

Had to paint in extra supports for the tip piece after it broke free twice early in the print process but other than that the file printed perfectly and looks great.
