  • MBT-5/8 Drop-in Style Machined Mounted Nylon Ball Transfer, Carbon Steel, 5/8" Diameter x 5:

Description

Bowling ball spinner. PLA works fine, uses 5 nylon roller bearings that can be found here : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EPLMCPQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title - MBT-5/8 Drop-in Style Machined Mounted Nylon Ball Transfer, Carbon Steel, 5/8" Diameter

UPDATE - Added 2 more versions to the updated print profile, the 2 added fit the steel 5/8 roller ball bearings here - Link

Did get one comment that people were able to break them, so try the gyroid print profile for the sparse infill or if you want, increase the sparse infil to 30-50% to increase the strength. I've had my original printed at 15% for a while and never broken it, but your mileage may vary.

No glue needed, press fits.

WARNING - Downloading this file does not give you permission to sell it.  I've already reported multiple people selling this design to etsy.  Taking my design and selling copies on etsy makes you a thief and I will come after you.  This is free for you to download and if you want to make copies for your friends, more power to ya, happy for you to do so. But do not try to make money off my design.

I took the transfer ball from here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/945339. After reducing the transfer ball to 29.5mm, they fit together perfectly. Thanks

Love the design, it's just what I wanted for my son. Had to print at 50% speed using PETG-HF, and it came out great.

Gave it to my kid last night when he got home and he loved it. These retail in his pro shop for $20-25. Estimated cost for me to print (minus electricity) was like $7. Could even be cheaper with the nylon bearings or larger bulk order of bearings. Win all around
