- Home washbasins and laundry sinks often utilize flip-up drain mechanisms. Hair, debris, and even small, valuable items like rings can easily slip through, posing a risk of clogs and loss. Finding a suitable filter proved impossible, so I meticulously designed this flip-up drain filter. After several iterations, it is finally complete and proven effective. I am now sharing this design with you, featuring the following advantages:
- Simple installation: Simply clip onto the flip-up drain mechanism;
- Excellent compatibility and practicality: The design ensures a snug fit, effective filtration, and proven hair capture (tested after shampooing);
- Minimal material, rapid printing: Support-free printing; uses only 2.9g of filament, taking 28 minutes for a single print and just 2.5 hours for ten;
- Reinforced structure, reusable.
- Suitable for drain openings with a 35mm diameter (which should be standard), as shown below:

- Added a configuration with a 4mm outer brim on December 28, 2024, to enhance print success rates. For brim versions, ensure thorough cleaning of the interior for optimal fit and installation.
