Description
It's dangerous and frowned upon to store a blade attached to a scalpel handle, yet I do it all the time. My needs are not surgical, but it's dangerous. I also typcally use a #11 blade on a scalpel handle #3.
To help make the storage of a scalpel handle and attached blade a bit safer, I designed a cap that covers the blade. When in-place, the cover will provide some protection, but caution when handling, even with my cap is wise.
My print is made with eSUN PLA+ 1.75mm Pine Green filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a Bambu X1 Carbon printer. Print supports required.
I hope that you can find this print useful, too.
Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
