Description
Knipex Cobra XS holder extension for Wera Toolcheck Mini (X-mas Edition 2024).
Additional update:
- I have found a nut socket designed by worp33 on printables that could be used to attach further nuts to the Toolcheck Mini with some minor modification.
Update v2:
- Knipex extension now locks in place (you can only open it with the bitholder removed)
- Added additional bit holder to the clip - works for Wera Rapidaptor with ring magnet (and may work for other tools, too)
Print/assembly:
- Use Bambu PETG (or similar) with standard print settings and tree support for the first part (clip)
- Use Bambu TPU 95A HF (or similar) with standard print settings and tree support for the second part (Knipex holder). Fit is tight, so materials other than TPU may not work (have not tested it)
- Insert the t-shaped profile of the first part into the second part.
- v1: The hinge is a loose print-in-place and opens without any force, so you may want to add a rubber band if you want to use the holder for permanent carry rather than storage
- v2: The hinge is a loose print-in-place and opens without any force, but locks in place now
This is one of my first models and far from perfect, so feel to add further extensions / improve the model :-)
Have fun with your combined tools!
