Description

The support that this design is based on, I have printed on another smaller skadis and holding smaller things and it works fine. For another larger one that had to hold more weight I thought it wouldn't be enough. I had the problem of not being able to drill the wall, so I modified the file by adding a support under the table. It is designed for a 30mm table. If it is wider it may be just right.
It is printed in PLA.

17/12/24  A version for tables up to 50 mm has been added by adding reinforcement in some parts.

09/01/26  Added new 45 and 50 mm screws

You're right, I didn't put it in the description, it was designed for my table which measures 30mm. If the table measures less there won't be a problem but if it's wider it might be just right. I'll add it to the description

thanks i did load it into studio in the end and without the clamping parts it would just fit my desk but not enough for them to then be clamped ..looks great though so thanks for posting

absolutely great way to hold a skdis board you buy or print. i have a thin top table so I had to make the screws longer but easily doable. I hadn’t realized till I went to install and realized it wasn’t long enough. It is an otherwise a magnificent solution.

Thanks a lot, this is probably the most stable table mount for skadis. The printing time was definitely worth it, great work!

great product and fits my desk perfect. I printed the larger version. wondering what screws to use to secure the board to the clamps?

Hi! This design is intended for an Ikea Skadis board. To secure the board to the clamps, you just need to reuse the screws that came included in the original Ikea package (the ones that are intended for wall mounting).

Is the screw also available for printing? I printed the Skadis plates myself, so no screw either :-)

Unfortunately, the screws are far too tight. The table protection is too loose. Unfortunately, the print template is not very good

Thanks for the comment. Just to share my experience: I've used this mount for over a year with zero issues or wobbling. About the screws: they are designed to be tight on purpose. Since PLA is not very resistant and tends to yield, the tight tolerances ensure it holds firm. Once you get past the initial resistance, the thread becomes smooth and easy to turn.
