This custom adapter is designed to allow the installation of a Haida 100mm Metal Filter Holder on the Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S lens, solving the challenge of using filters with this ultra-wide-angle lens. Unlike standard screw-in rings, which are suitable for lenses with a filter thread, this adapter replaces the lens hood and provides a stable mount for the Haida filter system.

Features:

1. Lens Hood Replacement:
   • The adapter securely attaches to the lens using the bayonet mount originally designed for the lens hood.
   • Small locking bars ensure a firm fit within the lens hood mounting mechanism, providing enough friction to prevent accidental detachment.
2. NO vignetting :
   • The front edge of the adapter is beveled to avoid any vignetting, even with ultra-wide-angle shots.
   • Tested to ensure no vignetting occurs when using two stacked filters in the original Haida filter holder system.
