Modular Marble Run - Stackable & Customizable
Print Profile(6)

Bill of Materials
Description

A simple but versatile marble run system designed for easy printing and flexible play. Born from a desire to create marble run components that could be printed without supports and easily reconfigured, this set focuses on modularity and simplicity. While there are many amazing marble runs available, we wanted to create something that could be printed flat, assembled quickly, and modified on the fly.
Design Intent and Value Proposition

The goal was straightforward - create marble run components that:
- Print flat on the bed without supports
- Assemble easily at the correct angles for marble flow
- Stack and reconnect simply for quick modifications
- Relatively short print time per piece
- Allow makers to print exactly the pieces they want to use
The flat printing approach helps avoid the stair-stepping effect from layer lines on the marble paths, resulting in smoother runs. Each piece can be secured with optional set screws if you're building larger configurations.

Basic pieces include:
- Marble Run Spiral Base - Large (A1/P1/X1) and Medium (A1 mini)

More options in the works based on user feedback, so let us know what you want to see next in the comments.
Print what you need - if you want multiple gravity wells or just a collection of straight runs, you can customize your set to match your play style.

Assembly
- Print components flat on the build plate.
- If you plan to build very tall designs, consider adding additional walls in the slicer.
- Connect modules at the designed angles.
- Add set screws if desired for extra stability. M3x4 or M3x5 work well.
- Reconfigure and experiment!
Materials Used
Full disclosure, while I'm not sponsored, I was provided rolls of Conjure Silk PLA to test and review. While I don't usually try silk, the dual colors from Conjure were really fun to try. I'm also excited to try the new Bambu Silk+ filament.
