Kids Craft Basket Frame to Weave with Yarn

A couple years back I helped out with a vbs with the theme “Jerusalem Marketplace” One of the crafts was weaving a basket, and the ones that could be ordered along with the program were $1 US each. I had some plastic canvas hanging around so I figured out a way to use that for the baskets instead, but I sure wish I had a 3d printer back then as my hand was sore from all that cutting.  We moved a bit back and our new church is doing the Joseph in Egypt VBS this year, and again there's a marketplace with basket weaving.  I've revised my original designs and added an oval basket that is the same size as those available to purchase with the program.

These basket frames are fairly quick to print and use only 7 grams or less of filament.  These would make a great craft project for any child! They can be scaled down, just make sure to keep the z at 1mm height.

While this item should not be sold commercially, I am ok with the person printing multiples of these for VBS, school, scouts, or other kids club activities to be compensated for filament costs.
