Tip and cap for super glue
Print Profile(1)

Description
My superglue

recently fell over and the nozzle got glued shut
Since the bottle was still half full, I looked for a replacement for the nozzle with a cap
I found https://makerworld.com/en/models/721064#profileId-651946, but unfortunately it didn't have the right thread size
So I designed a new nozzle in OpenSCAD
So thanks DamianB2 for the inspiration
The diameter at the bottle neck is 16mm (without thread) and the thread pitch is 3mm
Update 12/18/24
After extended use, the nozzle got stuck in the cap, and when twisting harder, the nozzle completely broke off
Therefore an update
To prevent the nozzle from sticking in the cap, I changed the internal structure from

to

This should provide enough friction on the sides to hold the cap, and the nozzle (which may still have a drop of glue) has no contact with the cap
Additionally, I made the outer wall of the nozzle 50% thicker to increase stability
Update 01/03/2025
There is a slightly modified form, superglueNozzleCap2

Additionally, there is a slightly more stable variant (superglueNozzleCap2-strong), with thicker walls, and
a variant with a smaller hole in the tip (superglueNozzleCap2-sharp) so that the tip becomes sharper ;-)
Update 05/21/2025
If you're looking for a place to store your spare nozzle, you can use this little transport-Benchy ;-)

Have fun with it
Update 02/16/2026
After over a year, a user (thanks user_3037526497) noticed that in January 2025, I accidentally uploaded the cut versions of the STL files for the 2nd version
Fixed today
