Description

Super whistling loud foam dart tip!

Quick and easy print!

After weeks of trial and error we have devised the perfect 3D printed whistling nerf dart tip. Simply print, clean, glue, and you're ready to fling some screaming darts!

Print instructions:

print with supports with the stem on the build plate
ensure advanced → order of walls → outer/inner
random seam positions to keep things balanced
20 walls to balance

Some Tips (lol)

Ensure the air openings are free of any stringing - this can affect the whistle effect (use a lighter to remove stringing)
Better results printed with stem down as provided in the print profile
Only use a small amount of glue

works great and whistles loudly. even using the weakest blaster I own (A Jolt) it hurts. probably would work best in glow in the dark so you can use it as a signal flare or something.

I made a paper cone and glued the whistler on the front and then shot it out a blow gun to increase velocity and it definitely whistles

I first printed 4 of the latest model with “a little larger tip” to see if they made a whistle. They sure did and have been pretty tough. Kids been bouncing them off walls and hard wood floors all day. Just printed a sheet and they will be excited in the morning.

Slower is better. Works, but on less powerfull Nerf guns. Whistles on lower projectile speeds.

These seem to shoot harder and faster with these tips, but I blow off the tips using my Hush II. Maybe I can increase the strength without affecting the sound? I haven't attempted yet.

I have a Nexus pro x which shoots over 200fps that makes these sound like a real gun but every shot the tip literally blows off literally after every shot
