Slatwall Filament Holder

This bracket fits into a 3" slatwall and holds a 1.25" dowel to use for filament storage. The back of the spool rests on the wall with the bottom front of the spool held in place by the dowel. 

I included a locking cam to keep the bracket from lifting out of the slats. Just stick the small peg of the cam into the hole in the top of the bracket near the wall, and once it is in place, rotate it into the slot to lock the bracket in place. 

It would probably work fine printed in PLA, but I printed it in PETG-HF and it seemed like the slatwall was going to break before the bracket did. I used one bracket about every 2 feet, but you will need to decide on your own how closely to space them based on your situation.
