Description

Sci-fi Print Head/Extruder Cover/faceplate for A1 & A1 Mini

I made two magnetic extruder cover before for super-quick change linked below but this one is for the ones who want to have a simple click in version for the scifi version too. :)

I printed with Bambu - PLA Basic - Light Grey to match the color of the printer.

So i was waiting 3 weeks to get my bambu light grey filament and when it finally came on i went crazy!!! LOL...I literally printed 90% of your page 3x over..I used almost the whole roll!! When i 1st came across ur page i wanted everything u made i love the style i have 2 minis and a reg a1 i will use all my 5 boosts now and when i get more ill boost again.. One request,is there any way u can make a bed handle for the A1 mini???

printed great looks great just snapped a little bit whiles pulling it off the build plate but that doesn't affect it at all

Other Issues:this looked AWESOME. but… after 5-6 prints with it on, the sock for the hot end came off. luckily caught the issue prior to wasting grams of filament. idk if the was a design issue, I think it is, but idk for sure. I think this happened because of the little lip at the bottom of the plate. also, yes I know the sock was on right as I took it off over a month ago so I know it wasn’t human error. also the little tab on the right hand side of the plate snapped off, again don’t know if a design issue

sorry to hear that. no it shouldt affect the sock. it can detach because it touches the print sometimes. but that shouldnt happen normally.
