Description

Somewhere here at Maker World I saw where someone made one of these for a Dyson. Well, I’m pretty sure my lovely wife of 40 years would be……. not happy if I took her beloved Dyson down to my workshop to vacuum the air out of filament storage bags. So, I decided to make one for my Milwaukee Compact Vac. And it works surprisingly well. While it does not pull a real tight vacuum my opinion is that it does well enough.

Place the bag on a flat surface then insert the nozzle into one of the ends of the bag. Seal the bag all the way to the end where the nozzle is. After as much air as possible is vacuumed out quickly remove the nozzle and seal the bag, pretty simple. Also while they are not as durable it seems to work pretty well on Ziploc gallon bags as well.

I also designed a small desiccant holder that I put in all of my storage bags.  It can be found HERE.
