The Design
This customized Commander deck box was crafted with care and precision to protect your expensive cardboard.
- Perfect Fit: The interior dimensions are engineered to snugly fit sleeved cards, preventing movement and potential damage during transport.
- Enhanced Commander Display: The box integrates a BCW or UltiPro mini snap case for showcasing your commander card in its full glory. This alternative to standard 3x4 top loaders provides superior protection in a much smaller form factor, allowing for a more compact box.
- Customizable Aesthetic: The designs are embedded into the lid and/or box and can be āsplit to partsā in Bambu Studio for effortless recoloring. This makes it easy to personalize the box in your preferred colors.
- Superior Magnetic Closure: Magnets ensure a firm lid closure, eliminating wear and tear over time seen in push-to-lock boxes. The lid is easy to remove and incredibly satisfying to snap shut.
- No Friction, No Binding: Unlike other boxes that rely on sliding plastic parts, this design avoids the common issue of binding, making opening and closing a breeze.
- Affordable and Accessible Materials: The magnets and BCW or Ultipro mini snap cases are affordable and widely available, so you can build your perfect deck box without breaking the bank.
- Modular System: With interchangeable lids and boxes so you can mix and match designs to suit your needs.

Deck Box Capacity
The box can hold:
105 standard size double sleeves cards; or

99 standard size single sleeved cards and 20 standard size single sleeved tokens; or

99 standard size single sleeved cards and 40 standard size unsleeved tokens; or

230 standard size unsleeved cards

Magnets
The 6mm X 3mm magnets are press fit using a magnet jig and a hobby hammer. Polarity matters, once the magnets go in they are very difficult to remove. I recommend using a jig like this. You can buy the magnets from Amazon for around 0.06 cents each.
Mini Snap Cases
Mini Snap cases are available directly from BCW or UltiPro, Amazon, or your local game store. I typically spend less than one US dollar each.
Printing
- I recommend Ironing topmost surfaces if you have the time
- Move the seam to the back; if you don't it will bunch up in the bottom front.
- For some art you will need to enable āthin wall detectionā under Strength Settings ā Walls.
- I print with 15% or 10% Grid or Gyroid infill.
