Description

I created this model to mount my Winwing FCU to my Honeycomb Bravo throttle. It keeps the FCU rigid and has a 15 degree upward tilt to make it easier to view.

Print settings:

0.2mm Layer Height

20% infill

3 walls

Print mount on its side, either side is fine.

 

Installation:

Unscrew the furthest screws on either side of the top of the Honeycomb Bravo and mount the Left and Right brackets accordingly screwing them back down with the same screws you removed. (The holes on the vertical support should be inward to the holes that mount to the throttle)

Use the screws that came with the FCU (about 27mm long) to mount the FCU to the brackets. I used a washer on the top mounting hole and no washer on the bottom recessed mounting hole.

Extremely handy, exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. It would have been beneficial if the rear legs of the supports were smaller to allow placement at the center of the HC Alpha or Bravo, not just at the ends

Hi there, thank you. Is the issue that it sticks beyond the sides of the central fcu without the modules on either side? That may have been an oversight on my part as I designed around the entire assembly.

Hello, I needed to screw these mounts to the middle of the HC alpha to offset my left FCU + EFIS. However, the mount brackets are too long to be screwed in the middle. They should have been approximately 4mm instead of 25mm
