Description

That is my case for the Zimablade. You need:

  • 4x M3x10mm to hold the SSD's
  • 4x M2.5x12mm hold the top part
  • 4 M2.5 brass inserts at the bottom part
  • 1x 60x60mm fan (with mount screws - 4x M3x20mm in my case).

The top part is common for both models (ZimaBlade_Case_v1.5_Top_all_models).

Choose between:

  • Without the active cooling: ZimaBlade_Case_v1.5_Bottom_no_fan
  • With the mount for active cooling: ZimaBlade_Case_v1.5_Bottom_60x60_fan

I am using this fan here (4 Pin FAN): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZJLVF31/ its height is ~15mm. I am connecting it to the CPU_FAN connector using a JST MX 1.25 4Pins Connector (you have to replace the original fan connector, use the FAN_TRIM_15mm).

If you don't want to do that you can also use this USB fan: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0821YC2NW/ (it comes with some nice wire fan covers - match it with the FAN_TRIM_10mm).

v1.4 Notes:

  • Added FAN_TRIM to use a metal grill on the fan.
  • Added a space for the bottom SSD SATA and POWER connector.
  • Added recesses on the TOP part to hide the screws head.
  • Added recess for the fan screw nuts.
  • Added the Zimablade window part with a passage for the CPU_FAN cable.
  • Added chamfer to the top and bottom parts for reduce sharp edges.

V1.5 Notes:

  • Added a recess where the brass insets are added for a better fitment.
  • Added height for the SSDs screws, you need a longer screw but the looks are now better.
  • Added a 15mm FAN_TRIM (to use it you need 4x M3x25mm screws.

Addition March/18/2024:

  • Added insert to stack the Zimablade case on top of the GL.iNet GL-MT3000 (Beryl AX)
