Description
What do I need this for?
This is a simple connection piece for the dice tower from Levytek
It is essentially two of the base plates glued together from the 3D Catan game from Dakanzla.
I also removed the drop in between them (if you're familiar with the original pieces, they have a taper at the edges) and adding some simple guiderails.
This model allows the tower to be used without a 3D printed catan board game.
Info:
- The tower currently fits tightly into this baseplate, if you want more tolerance, you can either use the “more tolerance” print profile, or scale the other one to 121.8%.
- The model with increased tolerance was made by -rfB-Design and added to this project by his suggestion. Thank you for your contribution!
- The dice tower by levytek is too large for the original 3D Catan baseplate, this is why I scaled the model to 121.2%, so that it fits nicely with the dice tower from Levytek.
- If you want to use my model with the original 3D Catan, scale the “tight tolerance” print profile back down to 100% and the dice Tower from Levytek to ~83% (depending on tolerances, you may want to try 82%).
Hope you have fun with this :)
