Description

I printed the Recreator 3D - MK6 Fun size with my bambu printer so I'm sharing the file containing all the parts for Bambu studio.

This machine is used to transform recycled PET plastic bottles (Coke, mountain dew, Perrier, etc.) into 3D printing filament.

All the main parts for the MK6 can be printed with a 1kg spool (without the bottle cutter). Total filament is about 1250g.

the Recreator can be built with ender 3 parts or you can buy them online for cheap.

My goal is to create enough filament to print a second one and donate it to the Fablab at the college where I work.

you can find the assembly instructions and parts list in the links below

I did not create this model, all credits go to the inventor @JRT3D.

Why doesn't it work with the Ender 3 power supply, which is much larger?

There is another version that accommodates the Ender power supply the fun-size requires a smaller one you could make an adapter

Are bambulab printers compatible with filament taken from plastic bottles? I would like to do it without breaking the machine. If anyone knows anything.

With the proper profile, yes, you can print with PET filament on Bambu machines.

Yes! Only the parts near the nozzle should be in PETG/ASA/ABS as it gets quite hot

I have the doubt of whether buying an ender 3 pro I could already do this project since in my area I can get one of those printers for $150 or less so I would like to know that :(

If you already have the rest of the hardware and tools required, buying a used ender 3 is a good option. If you have none of the extra hardware or tools, then the KB3D hardware kit is the best option.
