Description
Greetings, everyone! I present a project designed to showcase a magnificent clock, perfect for any setting, especially a home office
The model is virtually a 1:1 replica, with subtle aesthetic enhancements, particularly to the dial, blending elements from the base PAM01086 model (featuring the logo) and models with a seconds hand (displaying the PANERAI text)
The model is printable in metallic silk or black, simulating a DLC finish
For silver prints, all components, including the hands, will be silver. Black prints will feature black hands
Given its desktop nature, I recommend printing at the highest quality—I personally opted for 0.12mm layers with supports
The dial is two-color printed to ensure crisp lettering. For the dial's finish, choose between a glossy look using glass or metal foil, or leverage PEI's textured finish for a pleasing aesthetic, albeit with slightly reduced text resolution
Assembly is straightforward. A well-calibrated printer allows for screwing on the back cover; alternatively, remove the front bezel to access the mechanism for time adjustments or battery replacement
The 85mm crystal is designed to accommodate cake covers available on AliExpress (3mm thick). Alternatively, laser-cut a custom crystal
All parts possess ample tolerance, eliminating the need for XY compensation and ensuring optimal fit without sanding
For added flair, apply luminescent paint to the backs of the hands and the dial's indices
