Pokemon Cherish Ball

A Cherish Ball, based on my original pokeball model. This model is listed as a remix because due to the new ring geometry and alignment pin locations, these lid and ring parts are not compatible with the originals.

Misc. Info:

• The print-in-place ring mechanism has two versions with different tolerances. Make sure your elephants foot compensation is set properly to prevent the hinge from seizing.
  • The loose (original) version has a minimum gap size of 0.3mm, and should work with most (non-bambu) printers
  • The tight version has a minimum gap size of 0.2mm, and should only be printed if you are confident with your printer's capabilities. this version also contains additional geometry to aide in Multi-color painting.
• The magnets I used measure 6mm x 1.75mm (6x2 nominal). I got them from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KJ9H31P
• Printable alignment pins are included, but you can use machined pins too
• This model will need some painting or multi-material printing to add full color (see above)
