Hello friends,
here is my design for the 10x15 cable chain of the Sovol SV08.
Without altering the channel length, you will require 24 cable chain parts.
I recommend removing the initial sleeve guiding the cables.
This facilitates cable threading through the chain.
It includes all necessary components—excluding the cable chain—for proper chain guidance.
I did not need to adjust the cable length.
The cable ascends vertically from the base to the gantry, then distributes to the motors and print head.
From the distributor to the print head, I inserted 0.8mm spring wire into the mesh.
This helps keep the cable bundle straight and upright.
An additional plate is inserted between the actual clamp at the print head to secure the spring wire.
Three additional PTFE tube holders are also included. Note that the PTFE tube must be slid in, not pushed, as it fits very snugly.
