Description
There is a updated V2 of this lamp!
This is a lamp shade for E27 socket pendant lamps.
It is fully 3D printable! No Screws and no glue needed!
This is the type of socket i used, any socket with a screwable attachment will work as long as it isnt wider than 40mm.
How to build:
Print the following parts:
- 66 leafs → use a transparent material for the inner parts of the leaf, they come as 2 files
- 6 connectors even
- 6 connectors odd
- 90 3D printable 10mm Pins
- 1 top base and 1 bottom base
- 1 tool for the clips, to insert them easier
- Attach the leafs to the connectors with the 10mm pins. Use a plier to squeeze one side together and then the clip tool to insert it. The easiest way is to insert the pin into the leaf first with the bigger hole of the tool, than attach it to the connector with the smaller side of the tool.
- Attach all connectors to the top base part with 10mm pins.
- Screw in the E27 socket. This will allready give the construction some more stability.
- Screw in your light bulb, your hand wont fit through the bottom base part.
- Connect the bottom base part to the connectors.
- Turn on your light and enjoy!
