Description

Remember, short controlled bursts.

Keychain Blaster inspired by the M41A pulse rifle from the Alien franchise! It has two barrels that shoot 6mm airsoft BBs that can be stored in the magazine compartment!

Here's a little bonus video of modeling the blaster: https://youtu.be/Wb4YR63v3JI

Assembly:

You'll need two 5mm diameter springs of 20-25mm length, two M3 bolts at least 10mm long — I would recommend 10mm for the underbarrel launcher mechanism and at least 12mm for the main mechanism! See the assembly guide video:

I love it. It is printed fast and without any problem. It works very well with 6mm bbs, pla bits, and anything you can imagine. I use springs from pens. I add, a light little custom paint.

Can you say more about the custom paint?

I only perform a metallic dry brush in black parts and the red numbers in ammo counter.

Came out awesome, printed 4 at a time. But on my first print with PLA, plate 2 didn’t work out. For some reason the right side on all 4 broke out while still printing. They all broke identically which made me think it was the model. It wasn’t. I used silver PLA and I guess it was just too brittle because all the parts were very delicate. Used white for second attempt and worked perfect. The 5mm spring didn’t work good because it was too big. I suppose you could ream the barrel and it would work, but didn’t work with black PLA off the plate. Used a 4.5mm x 25mm spring instead. Works great. Using airsoft 6mm glow tracer BB’s.

Curious that a 5mm spring didn't fit... The barrels are 6.3mm and sounds like you could still fit the 6mm airsoft BBs in them. 🤔

Yeah it went in but was stuck in tight. Maybe I just needed to ream the hole a bit. but 4.5 works great too. BB’s fit good.

Another cool gun but for some reason I couldn't fit the second rod.
