Description

I made a dice with raised pips for some children with poor vision, hope it's useful to others!

The original file is sized for a 20mm dice, but the print profile is scaled for 30mm, to make it easier to use for young kids.

With this design do I need to use a raft? I have had my printer for less than a week and there is so much to learn! I have checked out what a raft is, but I am unsure whether it is needed with the face of the dice being concave. Thank you.

It's actually not needed. The "six" face is down, which barely has any bridging and doesn't need support. If you use a textured build plate you may get some texture on that face, but that's all. Please post pictures of any makes!

Thanks for that. I have already discovered the disadvantage of only having a textured plate and have ordered a smooth plate as a replacement. Happy to take a photo or two and post them here for you.
