Battery holder for ABB M5010
Print Profile(1)

Description
I got a measuring device “ABB Metrawatt M5010”. but as i used it the batterie holder broke down twice. i tried to fix the original one with mixed results. it was working, but everytime i needed to replace the batteries the holder broke in an other place :(.
So i designed my own since i dont get a new holder anymore.
the tricky part is, the compartment for the 6 AA cells is so tiny, it fits the 6 cells and some few mm around for the holder.
whats why i decided to use the BB PAHT-CF filament. Yes you can try to use an other filament, but be warned: it will break like the original holder.
You also need batteriekontacts. I used copper strips (0,8mm) and soldered springs onto the copper strips.
you could use those contacts https://www.mouser.de/ProductDetail/Keystone-Electronics/290?qs=jLI%2FJnmL0oB9dhso97v6ug%3D%3D
but the need some trimming.
For the two output contacts i used some leftover brass and my lathe.
