Description
One thing I have discovered over the years of using this is that not all bits are created equal. Some fit just fine and others were loose and fell out. To combat this, I redesigned it with an internal cavity to accommodate a small rare earth magnet. The dimensions of the cavity are .12” deep and .33” wide for a 8mm X 2mm magnet.
I have the printer pause just shy of the top of the cavity. I then place a small amount of CA glue in the cavity so the magnet is held in place and doesn’t interfere with the nozzle, put the magnet in and continue the print.
- I have added a new profile for a 10mm X 3mm magnet.
