200-Round .22 LR Storage Box

Design Edit Notes:

• Added new “case Insert” file with .25 Hex holes, doing away with the round holes. This has resulted in a much easier and more reliable print. I recommend this file over the round hole version. (12/21/24)
• Added new .22 case option that doesn't have built in supports to allow more printing flexibility. (12/12/24) 
• Added new .22 case insert option with increased hole diameters from 0.24" to 0.25". Use this instead of the original one if you have tolerance issues. This puts the holes 30 thousands over the .22" ammunition size.   (12/1/24)

Design Details:

• Capacity: Holds up to 200 rounds of .22 LR
• Modular design: Allows changing out the insert to fit other types of .22 ammunition without reprinting the entire case.
• Support-Free Printing: The model is designed to print without additional supports. Any required support is already built into the CAD file.
• Magnetic Lid Retention: The lid is designed to be held in place with four 2x8mm magnets that are added post-print.
• Round Projection: The lid can be removed and inserted into the base, which lifts the rounds for easier access. (https://imgur.com/a/F42wNV5)

My Print Settings:

• Nozzle Size: 0.4 mm
• Layer Height: 0.16 mm (It is safe to print all parts but the “case” at 0.2)
• Material: Matte PLA
