Hopefully this helps folks looking to replace this part, as it is a know issue for Volvo vehicles to lose this part on the roadway. I also added a small loop in case you want to tie a piece of fishing wire or string so if it does fall out, at least it hangs and isn't lost on the roadway. I printed this in ABS and used acetone vapor smoothing to achieve a glossy smooth finish. Alternatively, I have also applied clear coat directly after printing for a similar effect with only slightly visible layer lines. ABS has held up well in direct sunlight and rain for several months as well as survived several cycles in a contact carwash.
