Description

AMS not required. Printed in 3 parts. If you want the color change on the main body, you can set a pause at the beginning of layer 454.

Note: I used PLA Basic for the top/bottom. Silk PLA was too shiny for this part.

The main body has a built-in brim that should break away easily.

This is a redesign of my original model (here), to make it look even more like a battery.

The container opens from the bottom. Make sure to cover the hole on the top when opening.

The top has a twist-lock that holds it in place. You can reopen the container from the top, but it's a bit awkward and that's not the intended way to use it. The top is meant to just stay locked in place. You can use glue to hold the top on permanently, if you wanted, but I didn't want to require glue.

I've included a version that doesn't include a recycling logo, as well as a solid top. In case anyone just wants a container that looks like a battery.

The model itself looks good, but unfortunately I found some issues.
Support Issue:The lid should have support! As it is now is just overhanging without any support.
Other Issues:It seems to me that the thread at the bottom is too fine. As I can only screw it in so far as shown in the photo.

A very nice battery collector! I scaled it to 150% (read it in the reviews) and it is now big enough for my needs. However, I can't get the top lid to screw in. I can't understand why

Thank you, I enlarged the model as much as I could. There kind of brim in the model that not necessary. Don't forget to add supports to the upper closure.
