Description

This is my interpretation of Hawks' Feather Sword in My Hero Academia. I modeled this to print for my daughter's Halloween/MegaCon costume. This is designed to be printed in 8 pieces, plus 5 connector sleeves, 4 pins to hold the crossguard together, and uses a ¼" wooden dowel through the whole model to give it support. The connector sleeves help align the pieces together and give support to the dowel.

I printed this in ABS+ so it is a bit lighter than PLA. Using super glue between all the parts ensures it stays assembled, though a well calibrated printer should do the trick.

The ¼" dowel should be about 26.5” - 67.3 cm to fit comfortably in the length of the sword. The overall length of the sword is about 29.4 inches - 74.75 cm.

Updated --

Added a print profile and files to combine the blade into 3 pieces instead of 5. The combined blade parts are called “hawks sword blade 4-5” and "hawks sword blade 2-3" if you download the raw files. Thanks for the suggestion @jgb1503!
