Description

Simple reinforced X and Y motor mount for Tronxy X5SA Pro. Stock Tronxy comes with an acrylic X and Y motor mount that is flat and tends to break or deflect when trying to tension the belts. This design adds some structure and rigidity to the bracket with the two angle connections coming off. This will prevent the motor from being pulled while tensioning.
The X5SA/Pro do not have the best tensioning systems for the belts. This leads to the belts vibrating and whining on high acceleration movements. Proper belt tension is key.
The motor mounts have a hole that is accessible from under the 2020 extrusion once mount. This is large enough for a M5 screw or similar to allow you to fine tune the tension. screwing in the screw will push the motor mount and then you can tighten the 4 m3 screws holding the the stepper.

Hardware needed:

3 - M4x6mm screws
1 - M4x4mm screw
3 - M4 T-Nuts
