Description
These are simple modifications to the Tronxy X5SA pro 330mm variant. I have been slowly upgrading different aspects of this printer for fun. This is a simple yet effective way of gaining tension from the X-Y motion system. This design utilizes 608-2rs bearings, and 3d printed parts to achieve some tension on the belts. The design uses interference fitting of the bearing into the 3d print printed idler and the idler mounts as well. The pressure of the belt when tensioned keeps the mounts from potentially sliding off after use. Its a snug fit so it would not slide off. a 3d printed eccentric nut is used to gain tension.
Hardware you'll need:
2 - M3x25 screws
2 - OD 12-13mm ID atleast 4mm Washers
2 - 608-2RS Bearings
