IKEA SKADIS MODULAR SYSTEM

A modular pegboard for desktop and more, this is an on-going project, more sizes and components will keep coming out, you can also leave in the comments for what you wish to have.

V1.0:

  • 9 sizes of pegboards, steps with 240, 160 and 80mm
  • some basic components
  • I used the clips from @LineArcLine on printables

IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL FLAT CONNECTORS NEED TO BE USED IN FRONT AND BACK OF THE BOARDS!

WICHTIGER HINWEIS: ALLE FLACHVERBINDER MÜSSEN AN DER VORDER- UND RÜCKSEITE DER PLATTEN VERWENDET WERDEN!

重要提示:每个连接件需要打印2份,正反面同时使用!

Notes:

  • I tested on X1C and A1 Mini, with BBL PLA Basic and Matte filaments, other filaments have not been tested, please calibrate before print to avoid print failure.
  • slow down the first layer, I setup to 15mm/s for the first layer in my 3mf profile.
  • disable the cooling for the first 3 layers to enhance the adhesive is recommended.
  • I cut out a little piece on 1 corner of 240x240mm board, to avoid the reserved space on X/P series printers, in this case you do not need to change the print volume setting in bambu studio or manually block the cutter pusher.

Enjoy your print!

I am using this for a non-standard application. I have a dog that loves to climb the cat tree to get at the food. this wall keeps him down. I am new at 3D printing, but this model came out perfectly without me doing anything other than hitting print. Only add I might change (if I knew how) would be to add a corner bracket that switches the locking pin position. This would allow for more configuration.

Wow – this is absolutely brilliant! Would it be possible for you to share the STL or STEP file, or any other printable format?

Replying to @user_2601769663 :
Just change the top and bottom layers to 0 in the slicer, and select gyroid infill. They didn't edit the STL or STEP file. It was done entirely in the slicer.

Where can I get such panels that few branches use

amazing! this was the best base for my work setup. everything is organized, no mess with cables on desk and it is very handy and takes minimum space :)

These are great! I'm really excited to use these for displays and table gifts at an event I'm going to. They work well for combining the various sizes of boards. I do have two suggestions/requests: I wish there was an angled connector and base at a wider angle (like halfway between the angle that's there and 180º/flat), so that I could connect three larger panels together and it not feel too closed up. Also, the angled base and the regular base aren't the same height from the table surface, so mixing them together doesn't work very well.

Agreed! Not sure why the angled base and regular base are different heights.

I would have preferred the components to be on separate plates instead they are all on one plate

Works great! it's way stronger then I anticipated, and I can hold some really heavy stuff. (Drawer is not from this)

I adore that drawer! Could you tell me the source of the design? Thank you!

I love this modular Skadis kit but had trouble turning the locking pegs, so I made a tool that applies equal force on the entire turning "handle" of the pegs for easier turning/locking in place.

Yes - it's even prettier in silk! 👌🏻 Really pleased with this one.
