Opel Astra L Smartphone Mount

Phone mounting option for the Opel (Vauxhall) Astra L.

This mount clips near to the front USB sockets and provides a 17mm ball mount.

It doesn't interfere with the lid of the USB compartment or the glasses compartment.

A 17mm ball is used in many phone chargers, eg this one (affiliate link).

Updated Version V2 (first photos )

• only for automatic cars
• clips to bottle holder and front compartment
• 2 part design: base + arm, use 2* M5x16mm screws or glue to assemble
• arm available in different lengths + customize option
• more solid mount then V1
• V2 has 36° overhangs, which are a bit hard to print, so check moisture of the filament 
• additional extended variant by @user_2549857383 (moves the arm more to the dashboard)

• for automatic and manual cars
• two heights, 70 and 80mm, measured from the base to the ball.
• two options for the ball one with a shorter and one with a 2mm longer neck
• photos are showing the 80mm one with the short neck ball.
• You will need 1xM4 insert and 1xM4 screw (16 to 22mm are ideal) (affiliate links).
• the screw should have a quite small head.
• optionally add a bit of double sided foam tape.

The print profiles also contains a mirrored version, which should fit Right Hand Drive (vauxhall) cars.

This version is untested, let my know If it fits .

Attention:

There is the high possibility, that this will scratch your center console.

I for myself don't care, as this piano lack will scratch any way :D

Maybe use some tape for protection.
