Nice design should be a 5 but I'm giving a 3 just as a warning for other users. Really precise fit but pretty much impossible to do a valid print with an a1 mini. Both pieces are too large and tall, making them warp, I guess an enclosed printer is needed. I was hoping that even with the warp the pieces will work, but due to the precise fit, nope, it didn't. Looks like I wasted almost a kg of filament. I'm attaching a photo of the pei plate being lifted up by the warping.

Sorry to hear that. I printed 2 of them and I have had no problems. Printed with Kingroon PLA from Aliexpress. Both on the A1 mini without enclosure.

I printed it with a little of Jayo grey PLA + and bambu white basic PLA... In any case, based on your photo with the silicon pad already apllied, looks like you've got warping too. Maybe the difference and why it worked for you is that you printed at least one of the pieces in the other way round that is in the uploaded project (based on the low infill one). In your photo the warped area is the interior one (where you glue both parts) in my case is the exterior. I finally make it work sanding carefully with a rotatory tool for about an hour/hour an a half, all front/back and corner borders. That's why I guess your prints worked, cause you dont' have any defects in the exteriors due to warping but in the inside. You're not lossing dimensional accuracy but have a lite gap in the sides of the middle, I don't have any gap in the middle but I lost dimensional accuracy due to warped exteriors.

I find it a bit unfair that you gave him 3 stars. There is nothing the designer can design to prevent warping(if there is please let me know because I myself am a designer also). Large parts may warp, but the most likely culprits when printing high mass objects, and things to check are; to make sure that the raising column of heated air from the build plate is not disturbed by an air vent, high traffic areas, windows, or door opening/closing, make sure the room is as close to 20-40c as possible, also if that all fails try a different brand filament. Most people are partial to their favorite brands, but all filament has the problem of "it may be awesome at some attributes, and crappy at others".

Printed this half perfect 👌. Small bit of post print prep work on the bed side of print at the rounded edges. It was just a pinch to sharp for me. But, Im super picky about dumb things like that. Especially when the rest of the print is smooth and perfect. Great so far.

Fantastic work! It works great with the a1 Mini and additional draw. We had a issue with the nozzle attachment and found the nozzle pod fitted slightly better once it was slightly shorter :)
